Cold mornings hit the ears first. A tall, slouchy beanie leaves empty space at the crown and creeps up as you move. This one does the opposite: the knit hugs the head, and the fold-over cuff puts a double layer of fabric right across the forehead and ears, the spots that feel the cold before anything else. There is no pompom and no extra height, so it fits under a hood and looks right at the boat ramp, the trailhead or the gas station.

Care and maintenance
