What a hydration backpack is actually for

The bladder sits in its own back-panel pocket and the hose comes out through one of two concealed ports on the shoulder straps, left or right. You drink without stopping and without taking the pack off. The back panel is “stay-cool” mesh, which is the difference between a damp shirt and a soaked one on a warm day.
