Care and maintenance

Hand wash the insulated tumbler with straw in warm soapy water and pull the straw out to clean it separately. Leave the lid off to dry so nothing sits in the seal. Keep it out of the dishwasher, the freezer and the microwave: heat and freezing are what break a vacuum seal, and the dishwasher cycle is what dulls the finish. A soak with baking soda and warm water clears coffee smells without scratching the inside.

Does the lid seal completely?
It seals against splashes and a rough track, which is what a straw lid is for. It is not designed to be thrown in a pack upside down; for that, use a screw-lid bottle.

Can I put hot coffee in the insulated tumbler with straw?
Yes, the double wall handles hot drinks. Just be aware that drinking hot liquid through a straw is harder to judge than from a rim.
