Which color to choose

Caramel is a warm terracotta. The name is stitched in black with ACTIVE in orange, which is the combination that reads best on a mid tone. It is a fall color and it stands out next to green and grey gear.

Navy is a deep slate blue with the name in white and ACTIVE in orange. It is the easier of the two to wear with everything you already own, and the mesh is the same blue as the crown, so the back looks finished from behind.

Both are one size and both use the same stretch band, so the choice is only about color. Either way you get the same stretch fit trucker cap underneath.

Care and maintenance

Hand wash in cool water with a mild soap and reshape the crown while it is damp. Let it air dry away from direct heat. Do not put it in a washing machine or a dryer: the heat and the drum will flatten the structured front and can slacken the elastic band. Spot clean the peak with a soft brush. Stored upright or on a shelf, the crown keeps its shape for years.

The band stretches to fit most adult heads. It is a closer fit than a strap cap by design, so if you prefer a loose cap, or you have a larger head, a strap model will suit you better.

Can I wear it over a beanie?

No. The stretch band is made to sit against your head. For that, choose a cap with an adjustable strap.

Is the mark printed or embroidered?

Embroidered. The thread is stitched into the front panel, so it will not crack or peel the way a print can.

Does the mesh keep the rain out?

No. The mesh is there for air. The peak keeps rain off your face, but the back panels are open by design.

How should I pack it?
