Description
A waterproof dry bag earns its place the first time you go in the water with a car key in your pocket. This one is sized for the small things — keys, a hotel card, folded cash, an ID, a spare battery — and seals them behind a clear window you can still read through.
Sealed by a clamp, not a zipper
The closure is the fold-and-clamp type. You fold the top edge over, press the two snap arms down, and the lip compresses against itself. There is no zipper to grit up with sand and no roll-top to count turns on, which is why this style keeps working after a season on the beach. The supplier rates the result IPX-8 — the top step of the ingress protection scale, the one that covers continuous immersion — and lists 30 m as the depth rating.
Features
- IPX-8 waterproof rating — the supplier’s stated standard for continuous underwater immersion, listed at 30 m.
- Clear on both faces — front and back windows, so you can check a key fob or read a card without opening the pouch.
- Fold-and-clamp closure — two snap arms lock the folded lip shut. No zipper teeth, nothing for sand to jam.
- 48 cm lanyard included — wear it around the neck, or clip it to a pack strap, a belt loop or a life vest.
- 12 × 12 cm body — sized for keys, cards and cash. It is not a phone case, and the specifications below say why.
- Five colors — Black, White, Pink, Green and Blue, so two people sharing a boat can tell theirs apart at a glance.
- Rubber construction — flexible rather than rigid, so it packs flat when empty.

Read the size before you order
This is the honest part. The body of this waterproof dry bag measures 12 cm across the top and 12 cm tall, tapering to 10.5 cm at the base, and the clear window is smaller than that again. Keys, cards, cash, an ID, a hotel key card, a small power bank, a spare set of batteries — all of that fits. A current full-size smartphone does not. If you want a pouch for your phone, this is the wrong product, and we would rather tell you now than process a return later.
Which color to choose
The waterproof dry bag is identical in all five colors; only the frame changes, and the window is clear on every one. Black and White sit quietly against most gear. Pink, Green and Blue are the ones you find fast — in the bottom of a pack, on a dark boat deck, or in shallow water. If the bag is going to live in a hatch or a dry box with everything else that is black, pick a bright one.
Where a waterproof dry bag fits
Kayaking, paddleboarding, canoeing, snorkeling, a day at the lake, a rainy approach hike, a festival where you are not carrying a wallet. It is also the small item people forget until it is too late: the boat key, the truck fob with an electronic chip in it, the cash for the ramp fee. The U.S. Coast Guard’s boating safety resources are worth a read before any day on the water, and keeping your key and ID sealed and on a lanyard is part of the same habit.
Care and maintenance
Test the waterproof dry bag empty before you trust it with anything. Put a folded paper towel inside, clamp it shut, hold it under water for a minute, and check the towel. Do that once when it arrives and once at the start of each season. After salt water or sand, rinse the pouch in fresh water and pay attention to the folded lip, because a single grain of sand in the seal is what causes almost every leak in this style of waterproof dry bag. Dry it open, and store it unclamped so the rubber does not take a permanent crease.
Frequently asked questions
Will my phone fit?
Almost certainly not. The outer body is 12 × 12 cm and the inner window is smaller. This is a pouch for keys, cards and cash, not a phone case.
Is the lanyard included?
Yes. A 48 cm lanyard comes with the pouch and clips to the loop at the top.
Can I take this waterproof dry bag scuba diving?
The supplier rates it to 30 m, but we would keep it to snorkeling, swimming and surface water sports. For a dive, use gear rated and serviced for the depth you are diving.
Why do the measurements say ±2 cm?
Because the supplier measures by hand rather than with a jig, and says so. We pass that on instead of quoting a false precision.
Does the window still work with the pouch sealed?
Yes. Both faces are clear, so you can read a card or see which key is which without breaking the seal.

product okay
It seems very fragile. I bought it to hold the car key, but I won’t have the courage to use it.
used for house keys to put behind a road bike jersey.
Small, good quality. Plastic around the edges – tactile pleasant, does not slip. But what’s important to me is that the package is small. Therefore, everything is satisfactory. I will check the leakproofness in six months. If there are any issues, I will update the review. The product arrived quickly. Well packaged.
All good. Thanks!
