Description

The embroidered flexfit cap from MAXELTI Active is our own-brand cap: a structured six-panel crown, a stretch closed back with no strap or snap, and MAXELTI ACTIVE embroidered on the front in thread, not printed on top. It is the cap we reach for on the water, on the trail and around camp, and now it carries our name.

No strap, no snap: a closed back that stays put

Adjustable caps leave a gap at the back, a plastic snap that digs in after an hour and a tail of fabric that catches on everything. This one has none of that. The band is a single stretch piece that grips evenly all the way around, so the cap holds its place when you lean over a cooler, cast into the wind or duck under branches. You choose one of two sizes and the stretch does the rest.

The embroidery is stitched into the fabric, so it will not crack, peel or fade the way a heat transfer does after a season of sweat and sun.

Specifications

Choosing your embroidered flexfit cap: size, color and style

Size. Wrap a non-stretch measuring tape around your head, about 1 inch above your ears and across the middle of your forehead. Up to 22 3/4″ (57.8 cm), choose S/M. From 22 3/8″ (56.8 cm) and up, choose L/XL. If you land in the overlap, S/M gives a snug fit and L/XL a relaxed one.

Color. Black, Black Camo, Dark Grey and Olive are embroidered in white with an orange accent. Khaki and White are embroidered in black with the same orange accent, so the stitching stays crisp on a light cap. Light colors reflect more sun, which makes Khaki and White a good pick for long summer days.

Style. Front Logo is the clean version. Front Logo + Back Emblem adds our M emblem low on the back, just above the band, so the cap reads MAXELTI from behind too. The back emblem is available on the four dark colors.

Care and maintenance

Spot clean your embroidered flexfit cap with cool water, a little mild soap and a soft brush or cloth. Let it air dry on a rounded form, such as a rolled towel, so the crown keeps its shape. Keep it out of the washing machine and the dryer, which can bend the visor and tighten the band.

Frequently asked questions

Is the embroidered flexfit cap adjustable?
There is no strap or snap. The closed back has a stretch band that adapts within the range of each size, which is why the cap comes in S/M and L/XL.

Which size should I order?
Measure your head as described above. Up to about 22 3/4″ choose S/M; above that, choose L/XL.

Is it printed or embroidered?
Embroidered. The front is stitched in thread directly into the panel, and the optional M emblem is stitched into the back.

Does a cap replace sunscreen?
No. A cap shades your forehead, eyes and part of your face, but not your ears or the back of your neck. The CDC recommends combining a hat with shade, sunglasses and broad-spectrum sunscreen; see the CDC sun safety guidance.

How long does delivery take?
Your order ships within 2–5 business days and arrives 3–4 business days later. Shipping within the US is free, and tracking is emailed as soon as it ships.

What if it arrives damaged?
Email support@maxeltiactive.com within 30 days of delivery with your order number and a photo. If it arrived damaged or defective, we send a free replacement or a full refund, and you don’t need to send it back.
