Description

The organic bucket hat from MAXELTI Active is the easy-going cousin of our flexfit cap: soft organic cotton twill, a classic brim that shades your face, ears and neck all the way around, and MAXELTI ACTIVE embroidered on the front. One size, four colors that look right on the water, on the trail and at camp.

Shade all the way around, not just in front

A baseball cap covers your eyes and forehead. The back of your neck and the tops of your ears are left to the sun, and after a long afternoon on the bank or a midday hike they are the first to burn. A bucket hat fixes that with a brim that runs the full circle. It also packs flat into a tackle bag or daypack, so it is there when the clouds break.

The fabric is 100% organic cotton twill, GOTS certified, with OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certification: breathable in the heat and soft from the first wear. The embroidery is stitched in thread, not printed, so there is nothing to crack or peel.

Choosing your organic bucket hat color

Dill. A soft sage green that belongs by the lake and in the woods.

Light Slate Blue. A muted blue for the boat, the beach and summer trips.

Care and maintenance

Hand wash in cold water with a mild detergent, or spot clean with a damp cloth. Reshape the brim while damp and let it air dry. Skip the dryer and do not iron directly over the embroidery.

Is it printed or embroidered?
Embroidered. MAXELTI ACTIVE is stitched in thread directly into the front of the hat.

Why is the embroidery black on some colors?
On Stone and White, white thread would disappear, so those two use black and orange for a clean, readable finish.

Does a hat replace sunscreen?
No. A wide brim helps, but the CDC recommends combining a hat with shade, sunglasses and broad-spectrum sunscreen; see the CDC sun safety guidance.

How long does delivery take?
Your order ships within 2–5 business days and arrives 3–4 business days later. Shipping within the US is free, and tracking is emailed as soon as it ships.

What if it arrives damaged?
Email support@maxeltiactive.com within 30 days of delivery with your order number and a photo. If it arrived damaged or defective, we send a free replacement or a full refund, and you don’t need to send it back.
